Southern Belle

The Journey to Confidence starts with, dare I say, a great outfit

A Southern girl feels as good as she looks.  At least that’s what my granny always said.  I find fashion as an outlet. It is a way to not only feel fabulous but a way to bring out my self-love vibes.  I am always looking around for boutiques to see what kind of design they are bringing to our area.  I have some that are my must visit and some that may not be for me, but most definitely could bring out your inner beauty.

Dont be afraid of people looking at you. More than likely they aren’t passing judgement, rather than wanting to know, who you are, who you are wearing, and if they can get it in this area.

Tuscumbia03I am always thinking out of the box with design and see what fits my personality.  I am one to never waiver from a challenging outfit.  I like to WOW when I walk into a room.  I want people to stop and ask me where I got my clothes.  This opens an opportunity for me to meet new people and to increase revenue for the businesses I support.  Feeling like a million dollars is just one aspect of a great outfit.  Feeling confident in the outfit you have chosen creates a vibrant personality for the world to see.    I do not know anyone who doesnt shine when looking their best.  Fashion and self-confidence can go hand in hand.

Here I am wearing a gorgeous dress from Bella Vita Unique Boutique.  They have been a constant in my life since I have moved back.  This family owned business makes it a must shop in my book.  The dynamic mother and daughters trio, are so sweet and loving, not to mention their love of all fashion, shows as soon as you enter the store.

If you are courageous enough, then grab that hat while walking out the door. More than likely you needed it anyways.

They bring so much passion into the pieces that are in the store.  If you are not sure what you are looking for you can feel comfortable in asking them.  Before you know what hit you they will have a lineup of outfits and accessories waiting for you to try on.

I have seen all ages from teens up shopping while in the store.  They are well diverse when thinking about their customers.  Whether you are looking for oversized sweatshirts, Boho-chic, to wedding rehearsal elegance you will be able to find it at Bella Vita. If you haven’t been then I assure you that you will be glad you did. Visit their website or pay them a visit in house at 2514 Florence Blvd, Florence AL 35630.

Growing up in the Tri-Cities the love I had for the area tilted more towards how Id love to leave, rather than to see what the area had to offer. I didn't want to see at the time just how enchanting my hometown was. As soon as the chance arose my family and I made our way to Rhode Island. Once there we made some amazing life long friends, who took us in, and showed us just how proud they were of their state. It may be the smallest of all the states, but it was packed with charm and adventure. Each week we were visiting new restraunts, meeting new people, and visiting so many areas that I had only dreamed of. The residents were so proud of what they all had built together that it made me realize just how much I had missed out on back home. I have always been proud of my Southern Roots and I vowed that if God ever brought me back to my hometown I would make it my mission to explore the best it had to offer. I have been back for two years and have fallen in love with so many places. It is my mission now to bring my small town back to life and spread the word on how charming the Tri-Cities truly is.
